As Founder and Head Creative Fashion Designer of Black Caviar Collections, Shahnaz’s main passion is creating designs that encapsulate femininity.

With over 30 years experience in the fashion industry, Shahnaz has worked for industry-leading labels, crafting exquisite gowns for Australian celebrities and every day brides looking to find “the one” dress. Her love for designer European fabrics, French lace and refined silhouettes is what started her next journey…

Established in 2013, Black Caviar Collections has mastered creating women’s couture gowns, formal wear, special corsets, industry leading pattern-making and a wide range of alterations. Setting her apart from other designers, Shahnaz’s intricate craftsmanship has been perfected over the years, with techniques passed down from three generations.

Located in the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria, her fashion studio is just a short drive from the CBD. Embracing cultural diversity and women of all shapes, ages and sizes, Shahnaz is known for making you feel welcome from the first greeting to the last fitting, for a flawless experience every time.
